•   In June 2011 the new yacht Evil Woman Melges 32 was officially introduced from Yacht club St Nikolay at the International Yacht Race Caliacria Cup 2011 (02.06-05.06.2011 Balchik, Bulgaria).
  During the three days of the race, held with very vab weather conditions the newest participant yacht Evil woman has proven its quality and performance as one of the fastest one design yachts.
  
  One of the most specific characteristics of Melges 32 is the clear deck, carbon fibers of the rudder, keel and bowsprit. The boat is designed by Reichel Pugh and is produced by Melges Performance in Zenda, Wi, USA. Yacht Club St Nikolay is the first and the only Bulgarian club that have purchased such vessel in Bulgaria.
  
•   On 01-02.05.2010 was successfully held the first ever Match Race Melges 24 Spring regatta, sponsored by Yacht Club „St. Nikolay”.
  In this regatta took part Melges-24 and Conrad-25 (Peterson) types of yachts.
  
  Melges24 class classification:
  - 1st place yacht NO NAME - Yacht Club „Varna Port”, skipper Ivaylo Gavrailov
  - 2nd place yacht Jackal - Yacht Club „Varna Port”, skipper Nikolay Vassilev
  - 3rd place yacht Ronin - Yacht Club „Saint Nikolay”- Sofia, skipper Krum Stoev
  
  Peterson class classification:
  - 1st place yacht Nunki - Yacht Club „ Varna Port”, skipper Alexander Kalchev
  - 2nd place yacht Passat - Yacht Club „Breeze-Black Sea”-Varna, skipper Ivelin Ilchev
  - 3rd place yacht Blue Eagle - Yacht Club „Breeze-Black Sea-Varna”, skipper Valentin Ivanov
  Winners received cups and cash prizes.
  
•   Yacht Club „Saint Nikolay” organizes Mach Racing Melges24 - Spring (Melges -24) and (25 Conrad R) class, which will be held in Varna, in the period of 29.04-02.05.2010.
  
  The regatta will be managed by the Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-2012 (RRS), by the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (MPPSS), by class rules of Melges-24, by regatta invitation (except of changes made by the Sailing Instructions) and by the racing instructions of the event.
  
  Sailing instructions for the event will be available at the regatta office from 10:00 on Thursday 29.04.2010. The host of the regatta is Yacht Club “Black Sea Varna Briz”.
  
  To all winners of I, II and III place, will be given cups and cash prizes.
  
•   From the 01.10.2009 the Yacht Club Saint Nicolay has a new web site STNIKOLAY.ORG which presents each visitor with clear and well structured information.
